Refund Policy
Last Updated: 2026-07-24
This Refund Policy ("Policy") explains when refunds are available for purchases of TFDi Design Co. software and subscriptions ("Products"). This Policy is part of the applicable legal terms you agree to when you purchase and access our products.
1. General Rule
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, all purchases are final and non-refundable. This includes amounts paid for:
- Single Sale Software Licenses; and
- Subscriptions (including any billing periods already started).
2. Chargebacks / Transaction Reversals
If you initiate a chargeback, reversal, or similar payment dispute ("Transaction Reversal") with your payment provider, we may suspend or restrict access to the relevant Software and/or Website and your associated account until the dispute is resolved, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
3. EU / UK Legal Withdrawal Rights
If you are a customer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have a legal right to withdraw/cancel certain purchases within the applicable 14-day period, depending on the circumstances and the type of digital content/service purchased.
- What "performance begins" means for our single sale software
For purposes of EU/UK withdrawal rights for our desktop downloadable software, we treat "performance begins" only when you activate the Software (i.e., when activation is counted in our systems).
Because the installer may be available before activation, downloading the installer alone does not start performance.
Activation may be counted, for example, when you:
- enter a license key to activate the Software; and/or
- perform the product-specific activation step (e.g., pressing “Download” inside the product manager that triggers activation authorization).
- Waiver of withdrawal right upon activation (where permitted by law)
If you activate the Software during the applicable withdrawal period, your withdrawal/cancellation right may be waived to the extent permitted by applicable EU/UK law.
- If you do not activate
If you do not activate the Software and you request a refund within the applicable withdrawal period, we will process the request where legally required/eligible, subject to applicable law and our payment provider's processing timelines.
4. Subscriptions: Cancellation vs Refunds
Cancellation or non-renewal may be available in your Client Area. Unless required by applicable law, cancellation does not provide refunds for amounts already paid for the current or prior billing period.
5. Refund Request Procedure
To request a refund where legally permitted, contact us at https://support.tfdidesign.com/ with:
- order number (if available), and
- a brief explanation.
The request must be made with the same email address used to purchase the Product.
We may verify your entitlement and request reasonable information to process your request.
6. Denials and Limitations
We may deny or limit refunds to the extent permitted by applicable law in cases such as:
- fraud, abuse, or misrepresentation;
- requests submitted after the applicable withdrawal period expires;
- where activation has occurred and a waiver applies under EU/UK law.
